Up & Over:
Up and Over Garage Doors is the broader term given to both Canopy and Retractable doors.
Canopy Doors have a spring mechanism at the top lifting the door panel at the side and forming a canopy when open as a third of the door sticks out. A canopy door is most commonly used as a basic single width one piece up and over door.
Retractable Doors have horizontal tracks which are attached to the top of the door frame to guide the door open. Lifting movement is provided by springs located on both sides of the door frame which pull on the lifting arms in a cantilever action. This provides and exceptionally smooth opening and closing action which is ideal for electric operation.
Open vertically into a compact roll above the opening, taking up minimal space in the garage. This allows you to park right up in front of your garage door.
Sectional doors consist of separate sections instead of one single panel. This allows for smooth operation manually and especially when electrically operated. Sectional garage doors are ideal for short driveways as you can park right up to the door.
These garages are perfect for those who need quick and easy access to their garage on a regular basis. They provide great accessibility and are easy to open.
